Beginner 2

Primary Skills

Swimmers should be able to propel 4-6 feet on their front without an aid. They continue to learn floating and kicking on front and back; to submerge with eyes open. They begin to master rhythmic breathing and develop bilateral breathing. Students combine stroke on front and back (arms and legs coordination); they push off wall, glide, kick and exhale 4 -7 yards. They also perform jumps and sitting dives and get introduced to deep water.
