Swimming

Campers plunge into Physique’s daily instructional swim program (morning), as they learn basic swim techniques and safety skills under the supervision and guidance of our Red Cross certified lifeguards and instructors. This year we will start our swim team training, as well as a stroke development lessons at camp. Our camper’s instructor ratio is:

Level

Children Per Instructor

Beginner 1 4
Beginner 2 6
Advanced 1 7
Advanced 2 7
Swim Team

10

We ask parents to look at the Level Description to determine appropriate swimming level of the child. Swim level will be adjusted as instructor see fit and the camper progresses. As camper progress and complete each level, will receive achievement award weekly.

Small groups ensure that every child receives the individual attention, quality of instructions and positive learning experience. Also we are asking parents to instruct children of the pool safety rules.

Recreational swimming cements the morning learning by allowing children to utilize their new skills outside of the structural lessons environment.
Also: Aquatics Games, Relays, Wacky Races, Water Polo, Synchronized Swimming, Birthday Parties and Other Fun.
